Thank you to Laurence Zuelke '58 for submitting the following...He writes, "Veterans returning from Korean War service (1950-1953) had the G.I. Bill to fund their higher education. Many of these vets joined fraternities and settled down to college life at the U of I Champaign- Urbana.
A number of Alpha Beta chapter of Theta Xi brothers and perhaps pledges formed an informal group called "Theta Xi Vets". This photo in front of the fraternity house was taken circa 1956."
